Tamiya TA01/TA02/DF01 Rear Gear Box Cover (Light Blue)

The JR-TA104-LB aluminium rear gear box cover fits Tamiya TA01, TA02 and DF01 chassis and is finished in light blue. It replaces the factory plastic cover to provide a sturdier metal option aimed at improved gearbox protection and easier access during maintenance.

Compatibility is limited to the specified Tamiya models and this item is supplied as a single replacement cover. It uses the original mounting holes so it mounts where the stock cover sits, and existing hardware can often be reused if in good condition.

Aluminium changes the stiffness and heat transfer characteristics around the gearbox compared with plastic, which can alter drivetrain feel under prolonged running. Check gear mesh and screw tightness after installation of JR-TA104-LB as part of standard servicing.
